“About the Author”

Breast Cancer Awareness was something I became inspired to create, and to be able to share with other people who are dealing and coping with Breast Cancer. I grew up as a child, and still to this day, live in sunny Florida, Today I am closer than ever to my mother, who gave me the inspiration to start Breast Cancer Awareness. Breast Cancer Awareness shares information on breast cancer topics, along with tips, personal stories from experience with a loved one with breast cancer, Breast Cancer Videos, and more. I have always been told that I was a “helpful” person with a huge heart, and I believe that I have inherited that special gene from my mother. My mother moved from California to Florida, after meeting and falling in love with my father on vacation in Florida. I also have a sister, Nichole, who is a year and a half older than me, born exactly one year and 6 months apart from each other. I love her so much, and she has always given me the best advice and has tried to keep me away from negative people that seem to come around in life. Also – I will be putting some artwork up for sale for the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser that will go towards research for Breast Cancer Awareness in October. The art will be up in the near future, so please check back. I will post a new page and update everyone here as soon as the artwork and paintings arrive and I speak with my sponsors! Check back in the near future for more information on this fundraiser, or if you would like to donate, the proceeds will be added to the funds before given to Breast Cancer Awareness.

I think we all know who those people are, the ones who try to take advantage of you, for whatever reason it may be. My sister tells me that I am too nice sometimes, but it’s hard to not be nice, when that is how I am inside. My mother is still taking medication as she is still recovering from her Breast Cancer, and works as a night nurse at an assistant living facility in town. All of her patients love her to death! She is really an angel. My mother has always been the one to want to help other people, and for that, she inspires me to be the best person I can be. I look up to her, and love her for who she is, and for all that she does. We do have many medical bills now from the Chemotherapy treatments and doctor visits, but everything will work out, as long as we stay positive. And whenever she or anyone of us is ever in a bad mood, we have three dogs that will come up to us, and instantly- we are smiling again. :) We call it, “the dog farm” hahaha. We are dog lovers…or at least I am, because all of the dogs actually came from me, long story! But my mother fell in love with them all, and we love them more than anything.

My sister is a wonderful artist, and I enjoy making things and painting as well. I also try to go to the beach and surf when I can, if I am not writing. I love to write, and also love poetry. I use to write my ex-boyfriend love poems all the time, to the point where he had to put them all in a filing cabinet. :) Really. We ended up just becoming friends at one point, on mutual terms, but I do still try to call and see how he is doing. One minute you are best friends with a person, and the next minute, you don’t remember the last time you have talked or have seen them. Life is a bunch of memories…and I try to remember the good ones…and I believe we sometimes love the things we never forget..depending on what or who they are. Being positive is really important, because negative thinking only brings you down, so when my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer; I tried my hardest after crying my eyes out and worrying about her to death- to stay positive about the situation…and to give her the support and help she needed. But I kept my hope and I Believed everything would be okay. You must keep your hope high and stay positive through each situation, and believe in the good, and know life has its ups and downs..but it is you that makes the decision to get back up when you fall.

I never knew much about breast cancer until my mother was diagnosed, which made me want to learn as much as I could about breast cancer, along with ways to help as many people dealing with breast cancer as possible, to understand this disease better. I have to say, it is not an easy process to go through, but with support, love, and positivity, everything turns out better in the end. I want to thank everyone for all of the great comments and for taking the time to read my blogs. It means much more than you know to wake up, and see that I have so many kind people supporting what I am trying to do here on Breast Cancer Awareness, and also; For taking time out of their busy day to leave a comment to say thank you. So now I would like to take the time out of my day to say - Thank you! Please keep checking back for more new blogs, information, pictures and more. Breast Cancer Awareness is for every person affected by Breast Cancer, whether it is yourself, a friend, or a loved one…or if you’re just interested in learning more about Breast Cancer. I hope you can find the information, support, or even some peace of mind here at Breast Cancer Awareness.

I would also like to say thank you to my mother, for being so strong through this whole process, and for being the best mother I could ever ask for. She is truely an angel, and an inspiration to others. She always stays positive no matter what is thrown her way, and has the patience that most do not. My mother was going through Breast Cancer, Reconstructive Surgery, and Chemotherapy while still working night shift, taking care of the elderly at an assistant living facility, that she still to this day, and for many years has worked at. I believe helping others runs in our blood… Thank you mom, for showing me that we can do anything we put our mind to, and for helping me to create Breast Cancer Awareness, where other people can gather information and support they are in need of. If you would like to help Breast Cancer Awareness, you are now able to leave a donation of your choice either below, or on the Donation page. Every donation is greatly appreciated, and each recieved will go towards helping to keep the community of Breast Cancer Awareness running and to help start a new foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness. My dog Chewy has inspired me recently to come out with a gift for my Breast Cancer Awareness friends who are also dog lovers. It is a surprize…so come back in a few weeks to find out more :) ! We can all help, and with our help, I believe that researchers will come closer to detecting breast cancer quicker, and I always keep hope that there will be a cure. Thank you all for your support!

This is VERY IMPORTANT for your health, as Vitamin D has been PROVEN to CURE BREAST CANCER..It has not been talked about as much as it should be..this could be because doctors want people to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on Chemotherapy and other Cancer Drugs..when they know that Vitamin D cures Breast Cancer and many other illnesses. 7. I must show my appreciation to the writer for rescuing me from this type of matter. Just after exploring through the internet and obtaining thoughts that were not helpful, I assumed my life was done. 27. What we lovingly refer to as Daily Republic 2.0 is a mix of legacy software that we created dating back to 2001, and modern software like WordPress. There is no single downloadable application that would reproduce this website.

  28. B. Psalm 46:4-6The river of prayer, like an umbilical cord, connects us to God. Each of us is a stream joining in to the flow. All creation (the City of God, the place where God dwells)is made glad and rejoices as we gather at the river. As I was reflecting on this psalm I began singing Shall We Gather at the River, written by Robert Lowry in 1864 and based on Rev 22:1-2 which says: A pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Holy Spirit river, with all our streams of prayer, flows from earth to heaven, its source the throne of God and of the Lamb, the Church.
