Breast Cancer Awareness was first started after my mothers diagnosis of Breast Cancer, which led me to here, developing Breast Cancer Awareness. I wanted Breast Cancer Awareness to be a place where people can visit and find the information and help they are searching for. It is time that we all become more educated about Breast CancerBecome more Aware about Breast Cancer today by searching through Breast Cancer Awareness and the many Breast Cancer Articles, Videos, Information and more; And see how our researchers are working around the clock to help find a cure for this disease. I dedicated and Built Breast Cancer Awareness for my mother Connie and to help others effected by Breast Cancer. My mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer a few years ago now and is doing much better. She had to have one Breast removed ( a Mastectomy ), Chemotherapy, Reconstruction Surgery and much more. My mother is such a strong woman and has the biggest heart. I love her more than anything in this world and I hope the Resources and Information here at Breast Cancer Awareness will be able to help anyone who is dealing with Breast Cancer in any way.

Thank you all for taking the time to visit Breast Cancer Awareness as it continues to grow larger each day! I have recently added new Breast Cancer Videos, which will allow you to visually see more about Breast Cancer and its related topics. It is sure to be helpful, and I hope to be able to help in any way I can, with information on Breast Cancer, personal stories from living with a loved one with breast cancer, and some helpful tips for a better experience; whether it is a loved one, or yourself, keep hope in your heart and know that you are not alone in this fight.

” We should not let our fears hold us back from pursuing our hopes. “  - John F. Kennedy

Breast Cancer is something that I wanted to learn more about, especially ever since the day my mother called me after her doctors appointment, to tell me the bad news of her test. She explained to me she had been diagnosed with  Stage 2 Breast Cancer and had also tested positive for the HER-2 gene. I was really emotional, and I just kept hoping that she was joking or that I was in some bad dream…But I knew I wasn’t. Thinking my mother may not have that long to live broke my heart, so I just prayed, and tried to research as much information as I could on her diagnosis. I felt my heart drop into my stomach as I heard those words. She told me not to worry, and that she would be going into surgery for a Mastectomy, and then possible reconstructive surgery the next week. It took me a moment,to hold back my tears, as I tried to find the right words to say, to help comfort her. As we both pushed the end buttons on our phones, I dropped to the floor and rested my head down, crying as I had flashbacks of when I was little and use to be scared of the dark. I remembered all of the times I would sneak into my parents bedroom at night, and waking my mother up quietly, and asking if I could sleep next to her.  My mother always knew how to comfort me when I was scared or needed help, and that really opened my eyes about the importance of me being there for her at this difficult time, and to learn more about Breast Cancer Awareness. The Video below is one of the many Breast Cancer Videos Breast Cancer Awareness has to offer. Visit the “Informative Breast Cancer Videos” Page for more Breast Cancer related Videos.
